What was the first film you saw?

Dracula (Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing) in Hong Kong.

What is your favourite film?

The Godfather. The acting, directing, story and lighting - the whole production is marvellous.

Last time you walked out?

I never do because I enjoy every type of film, drama, comedy, action, too much.

The last time you snogged?

It's unusual for Chinese to do that in a public place, especially during my life. I did give a thank you kiss to my wife for all her support at the premiere of Anna and the King in LA.

The last time you cried?

I'm a big boy now and, as I read in the LA Times, I'm the coolest man in the world. I only cry in front of the camera.

Most erotic scene?

Prison of Fire II when I dive from the dam into the water naked with another man. We had a good time, swimming up and down.

Which actor would you like to be?

Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, they are both powerful and express emotion very well. Also, Yul Brynner, he was great in The King and I and those cowboy films.

Which actress?

Jodie Foster for her beauty, charm and talent. I enjoyed every second during our scenes together.

If you were king, what would you change?

I'd destroy all nuclear weapons.

Any differences between Hollywood and Hong Kong film making?

The budget is limited in Asia and production moves at a very fast pace. Hollywood is more systematic.

Are you a better actor than Jackie Chan?

He's one of my idols, my action hero. We are in two different categories.

Anna and the King deals with Westerners adapting to Eastern culture. What do you think Westerners should learn from it?

I think Asians are more family and community orientated, and approach human relationships in a more philosophical way.
